Project: Uber Social Impact, Turkey Relief Efforts Location: Adana & Hatay, Turkey
Project Partner: Quick Frame Inc. [Video Creation & Insights Platform]
In early 2023, following the significant Turkey Great Earthquake that caused extensive destruction, UBER began running relief campaigns. We produced a campaign video to announce their global donation campaign through the application in the earthquake-stricken region of Hatay, one of the most severely affected cities. As the content & line producer, and also as a director, in this project I;
• Led international and regional communications and planning, ensuring seamless coordination and project success
• Managed regional pre-production logistics, including accommodations and location scouting, to ensure smooth production operations
• Directed the production process, overseeing photography, filming, and interviews, resulting in high-quality content
• Secured all necessary legal permissions and managed copyrights, ensuring compliance with all regulations
• The campaign film also includes interviews with collaborating associations, non-governmental organizations, international volunteer supporters, and earthquake victims
• The visuals and videos containing the details of the campaign were not made available online due to privacy and security reasons, in consideration of the sensitive locations of the volunteer participants and earthquake victims. Therefore, campaign interviews and video footage were not included here.

Voluntary Uber drivers delivered essential supplies they received from aid centers to those in need in the cities of Adana, Hatay, and Antakya.
